Guess what! Ashley and I drove over to her parents house on Saturday with this mysterious box in the back seat. Once we got there she vaccummed out my seats really well and opened the box. It was new seat covers! They are red and black and so sporty looking! I feel like a new Goose.

Not much going on today. The parking lot is quiet and serene. If only Ashley didn't have to work so much. She spent some time with me yesterday shining up my interior...but then she woke me up at like 10:45pm to drive somewhere! Once we got there, that guy she lives with got in the car, so it must have been his fault. Husbands have got to be overrated.

I think it's obvious I haven't put much time or energy into this personal blog lately. So I have decided to dedicate this site to my most favorite possession, my ride, my faithful friend, my Goose. I can't upload pictures of her because I am too cheap to pay for Xanga Premium, so you will just have to imagine the most beautiful yet sporty car ever! From here on out, she will tell the story.

Well, it's been a normal morning so far. I am here parked in the North Lot of Covenant waiting anxiously until 4:30pm when Ashley will come out and play for a few minutes. I think I overheard her tell a friend she will see them at the gym later this afternoon, so I may have to spend another hour parked at the south of campus. But that's OK. Just a few days ago I got an oil change...oh, it was intense. Not only was my oil especially yucky this time, my transmission fluid was a quart low! Yikes! Now I know why I was having trouble shifting...hmm...

Ashley seemed anxious this morning as we drove to work. Even though she was singing along to her mix CD as usual, I could sense some tension in the balls of her feet. Maybe she'll say something about it later this afternoon.

OK, enough for now. The guy is coming around to give out parking tickets again. Maybe I'll hide my sticker from him just for kicks...

OK, now for an extended update...

Life is continuing on like it always does. I am still working for Covenant College looking forward to the time when I can pursue what I really love to do, namely, woodworking. I am working on a project now for my mother for Christmas and I think I am getting more enjoyment out of it than she will. She asked me last night why I don't just have projects going on all the time, and I think her suggestion to do so is a great one. Even if what I am making is not for a specific purpose, it will be nice to have an ongoing outlet for my creative side.

Reuben and I signed the lease on an apartment a couple days ago. We will move in the very last week of December. It is a small place, but it will be cozy. It will just be hard for us to fit all of the stuff from our house into a small apartment. I think my sister may end up with a few of our things :o) The apartment is over on the Tennessee side of Lookout Mountain so it is close to work for both of us and the price is reasonable for the location. I can't wait to get our stuff out of storage!!

Well, it is now time for work here at Covenant, so I better get going.

I hope everyone has a pleasant weekend.

I am updating just for my brother Ethan. He faithfully comes to visit me at work almost every day, occasionally buys me lunch when I have overslept and didn't make one, and even tells me he loves me in front of my co-workers. I tell ya, I was deprived as a child not having any younger siblings. Good thing God gave me such wonderful younger siblings later in life.

I'll try to update more later.

I love Ethan!
